I collaborate with small businesses, arts and cultural organizations, and individuals to strengthen connections with audiences and customers.
After 15+ years teaching and managing programs in higher ed, I am bringing my experience managing projects, distilling complex ideas into plain language, and clear writing to your initiatives.
I bring high attention to detail, interpretive nuance, and critical thinking to my writing and editing projects. I manage people with respect and calm, and approach timelines and budgets with common sense.
I have worked as a professor, program manager, development director, performer/public speaker, and administrative professional, in addition to the myriad food and retail jobs early in my career. I bring all of these experiences to my consulting work.
I am especially passionate about working on projects that advance positive social change and address urgent community needs.
I live in Duluth, Minnesota, where I write poetry, volunteer in the kitchen with DCWC Nourish, work part-time for Duluth Kitchen Company, and revel in the beauty of northern Minnesota with my Border Terrier, Juniper.
